MusiCares and ARTDOCS are partnering to provide a free musicians' health clinic for uninsured or under-insured music professionals in need. Services will include a comprehensive physical exam, blood and laboratory tests and/or an examination related to a specific medical issue. These services will be provided free of charge to eligible applicants on a first-come, first-served basis. Those wishing to take advantage of this service must be able to provide documentation of their work in the music industry for at least five years. If professional music industry experience is less than five years, eligibility can also be determined through credited contribution to at least six commercially released recordings or videos (singles).
