The Partnership at Drugfree.org is working toward a vision where all young people will be able to live their lives free of drug and alcohol abuse. On Dec. 4 at Gotham Hall in New York the Partnership at Drugfree.org will host the Winter Wish Gala in honor of supporters who have been instrumental in helping reach families in need. The Partnership at Drugfree.org has collaborated with MusiCares to create the Teens! Make Music Contest, which asks teens to create original music and/or a music video that celebrates healthy living or depicts the effects of drug abuse. MusiCares will be honored with the Special Tribute Award along with other honorees James B. Lee Jr., the National Basketball Association and Sir Martin Sorrell. MusiCares was chosen because of the work it does for those in need in relation to substance abuse issues. If you have interest in supporting this year's event, please visit www.drugfree.org/winterwishgala to find out how.
