Former GRAMMY Jazz Ensembles Member Tapped By BET

Former GRAMMY Jazz Ensembles member Damien Sneed has been named the new musical director for BET's gospel singing competition show "Sunday Best." During his career, Sneed has served as music director for artists such as Donnie McClurkin, Marvin Sapp and Vickie Winans, among others, and appeared on Winans' GRAMMY-nominated How I Got Over. Sneed is a graduate of Davidson Fine Arts Magnet School in Augusta, Ga., which was the recipient of the GRAMMY Foundation's National GRAMMY Signature Schools award in 2004 and the GRAMMY Signature Schools (Gold) award in 2005.
